On October 11th, 2003, my daughter had a wedding reception at the Colonnade in Ringgold, GA. The event was a smashing success, partially due to the hard work and planning by my wife, and partially due to the wonderful catering company we had chosen, Goetz Catering owned by Ron Crawford. Having to rely on one individual to adequately provide meals and bar for 200 guests can be a little nerve racking, but Ron came through with flying colors. The food was wonderful, unlike most banquets or receptions I have attended. Ron even set up a children's buffet, complete with Winnie the Pooh decorations, and it was a huge success. The entire presentation, especially the main buffet table was far more than I ever expected.
There is one other item which I would be remiss by not mentioning, and is actually more important than all of the food and decorations put together. One of the most impressive points to be made for Ron's entire package was the people. From the chefs who helped us set up tables the day before the event to the servers and those who helped clean up afterwards, I could not have been more pleased or impressed. They were all friendly and polite and very, very helpful. I would invite anyone to call me for a well deserved, glowing reference.
